Visitors and  Registration 

Who can attend? 

International Security Expo is a business-to-business event dedicated to security industry professionals, bodies and associations only. All visitors should be engaged in bona fide areas of the security or cyber industry, the armed forces, government, equipment procurement organisations, specifiers, operators/end users, trade media, or research establishments.

*Please note that under 18s will not be admitted to the show under any circumstances.

I am a student, am I able to attend the show? 

Students are welcome to attend International Security Expo however the show is heavily tailored for  security industry professionals, bodies and associations only.

Can I use same ticket to attend both days? 

Yes, your ticket is valid for the duration of the event which is from 24-25 September 2024.

Is the event free to attend? 

Yes, the event is free to attend and your pass will give you access to the complete conference programme as well as networking opportunities such Evening drinks after event. 

Can I register on the arrival to the event? 

Yes, you can register on arrival at the event. We do advise that all visitors take the opportunity to pre-register via event's website.

When will I receive my entry badge? 

Your badge will be issued closer to the event. We recommend you print your badge at home to save time queuing onsite. However, if you are unable to do this, there will be badge collection facilities as well at the event.

Can I edit my registration details? 

If you wish to edit your registration details, please email and we will be happy to make amendments to your registration. 

Where does my visitor pass allow me access to? 

Your visitor pass gives you access to the whole show on both Tuesday 24th September and Wednesday 25th September . The pass also allows you access to the full six track conference programme and networking opportunities such as Evening drinks after event. 

What if I have forgotten my pass when I arrive at the show? 

In case you forget your pass, you need to go to the Registration desks and they will print the ticket for you. Please have a form of ID with you as you may be asked for proof of company name as the show is only open to trade visitors. ID can be in the form of a business card.

Do I have to register separately for International Cyber Expo? 

No, both of our events International Security Expo and International Cyber Expo are co-located. So, if you register for one, you have access to attend both the events.

Where can I stay? 

We’ve partnered up with specialist accommodation agency Event Express to provide discounted hotel accommodation and flexible cancellation policies exclusively for the International security expo 2023 attendees. Event Express is the official hotel agency for the events. Is there free wifi at the venue? 

Yes, Visitors can access the venue’s free WiFi by selecting Olympia WiFi from their device and choose Free Visitor WiFi

Is there a clockroom? 

Yes, there is a cloakroom available at the event. The cloakroom is situated to the right of the main entrance inside the hall. It is open from 09:00 on each day until half an hour after the show closes on each day. There is a charge per item left each day.

Is there an ATM? 

Yes, there are several ATMs in the entrance of Olympia. The nearest cash points to the venue are outside the Post Office at 8-10 North End Road, W14 0SH and outside Sainsbury’s Local on Kensington High Street, W14 8JH (both free)

VISA Letters 

If you need a visa to attend International Security Expo, it is essential that you begin the application process as soon as possible, in order that you obtain your visa in time for the show or registration deadline. You must submit your own application to the relevant authority and follow up accordingly. International security expo is unable to follow up your application on your behalf or enter into direct correspondence with consulates.

A Visa Support Letter will ONLY be issued to SPEAKERS and EXHIBITORS who have been invited by International security expo or who have paid their exhibition registration fee in full. Once we have confirmed receipt of payment from the proposed attendee, we will need the full name, nationality, passport number, expiry date and date of birth for the attendee, only then can we issue a Visa Support Letter. The Visa Support Letter will confirm the event title, date and location. It will also confirm whether the individual is a speaker or exhibitor. It will not imply any undertaking to provide funding nor act as financial guarantee for your stay in the UK. The International security expo reserves the right not to issue a Visa Support Letter in certain cases even if above conditions have been met. Exhibition Fees will not be refunded in the case of a Visa not being obtained.

At the show

Where can I eat and drink? 

There are a number of cafés within the exhibition hall.. Themed cafés serving items ranging from light snacks and refreshments to hot meals and drinks can be found within the venue. 

How do I find my way around the show once I'm there? 

On arrival to Olympia, printed brochures with floorplans can be collected at the entrance. There will also be access to the floor plan through the visitor portal and app. 

Am I able to book the conference? 

No, our conferences and seminars are all free to attend for all visitors on a first-come, first-served basis so we recommend that you arrive at your chosen sessions in plenty of time. A small selection of the sessions may be filmed by our official videographers and made available after the event.
