The Counter Threat Pavilion, in partnership with Counter-EO UK, CBRN-UK & DPAC, and in collaboration with Department for Business & Trade, UK Defence and Security Exports and MOD, will feature members from these specialist groups, showcasing the latest capabilities to reduce the likelihood of a CBRN attack and the integrated solutions based on British excellence to counter the IED threat.
Counter-EO UK & CBRN-UK will be conducting scenario-based live and interactive demonstrations, featuring highly skilled current personnel from these two specialist areas carrying out British Army protocol and procedures during realistic scenarios featuring products from our exhibitors.
The Counter-Explosive Ordnance team and bomb disposal operator will demonstrate specialist clearance of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). Whilst a CBRN capability demonstration carried out by a specialist CBRN operator will use cutting-edge chemical, biological and radiological detection apparatus.
Ever wonder what it is like to work and function normally in a 'bomb suit'? Why not come and try your hand today. Slip into the bomb suit and sink a few putts – what could be easier!?
Take three putts wearing the bomb suit jacket and helmet. The highest score at the end of the event wins a £250 voucher of your choice. (In the event of a tie the winner’s name will be drawn from those in contention).
