International Security Expo will bring together an exceptional selection of speakers from across the global security spectrum to provide the latest, essential insights and thinking that will make a difference to security professionals from around the world.

Global Counter Terror & Security Summit

The high-level Global Counter Terror & Security Summit will explore the synergy between counter-terrorism, serious and organised crime and security in the physical and cyber world. Consisting of presentations, panel discussions and fireside chats, it will look at high-level policy issues, the key issues that have developed throughout 2024 whilst looking forward to what could be developing in 2025. Key government partners, international agencies and organisations will add insights and thoughts. Key themes include:

  • Legislative updates (including Martyn’s Law) & policy insights
  • Security influences, including serious & organised crime, Advance Persistent Threats (APTs) and disinformation
  • International collaboration facilitated through "Safer Cities" panel discussions sharing and best practice from real-life case studies.
  • Highlighting the human impact of terrorism through the continuation of the "Realities of Terror" series, expanding to encompass the "Realities of Crime"
  • Geopolitical considerations, encompassing briefings on global issues and the examination of how geopolitics influences terrorism

International Security & Resilience Conference

The International Security & Resilience Conference will explore four main themes: Transport & Aviation Security, Resilience, Security Skills and Innovation. Underpinning each of these areas will be practical examples and case studies that are intended to provide practical takeaways for the listener. Whilst a selection of general interest sessions will run across the two-days offering essential knowledge and insights on the things everyone working in security needs to know. Key themes include:
 

  • Aviation and transport security from an international perspective
  • Practical insights to enable better resilience planning, plus a look at how the developing nation-wide resilience networks can help
  • Implementation of Martyn's Law and protecting PALs
  • Insights on new and emerging technologies
  • Education and Skills – giving real insights to what is needed and where to get it

2023 Summit & Conference Agenda

Global Counter Terror & Serious and Organised Crime Summit

This high-level Summit will looked at how the terror threat has continued to morph, whilst examining the potential threat coming from the war in Ukraine. This acted as a bridge to looking at serious and organised crime in its many different facets. Key government partners and organisations added their insights and thoughts.

National resilience, alongside industrial and organisational resilience, have all continued to be tested, whilst we continue to see the impacts of global warming and additional environmental risks. This conference gave the latest thinking from individuals and organisations who live, eat and breathe risk and resilience, along with their practical insights.
