We are pleased to announce that ICoCA is an official partner at this year’s East Africa Humanitarian PPP & Procurement Summitto be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 7-9 December, 2022. The conference will be attended by key decision-makers including Country/Regional Directors and Heads of Procurement from over 80 leading international, regional and local NGOs, UN agencies, governmental departments and international associations. The format comprises a combination of exhibition space, keynote addresses, plenary sessions and matchmaking private one-to-one meetings. As an official partner, ICoCA will both have an exhibition space and will be sponsoring a plenary round-table discussion. The discussion will highlight the need for humanitarian organisations and their donors to ensure private security services are procured from responsible providers who are subject to rigorous human rights due diligence and will demonstrate how responsible security provision positively contributes to the delivery of humanitarian aid and development assistance.
