Volunteer Police Cadets

We are delighted to welcome the Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC) to International Security Expo 2021.

The Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC) is the uniformed youth group of UK policing, with units based in every police force area.

Being in the VPC is not about joining the police (though many cadets do!), but it is about giving young people from all backgrounds and communities new opportunities, experiences, and life skills as active citizens.

The Aims of the VPC are:

To promote a practical understanding of policing amongst all young people.
To encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship.
To support local policing priorities through volunteering and give young people a chance to be heard.
To inspire young people to participate positively in their communities.

"We are very proud once again to be invited to visit International Security Expo in London, building on amazing experiences our cadets have had with you since 2018.

Meeting key senior industry leads, seeing first-hand cutting-edge technology and systems still in development, meeting professionals from such a wide universe of skills, disciplines, organisations, and operating environments and much more. Cadets at International Security Expo have seen a very different worldview which has inspired, motivated, and encouraged them to aspire in ways they may not have previously even knew existed!
