Tonia is Director of Security at Heathrow and is accountable for all security aspects across the airport, setting strategic direction, policy, and priorities with a clear focus on passenger experience and regulatory compliance.

Tonia began her career at Heathrow nine years ago and has held several senior leadership roles, including Service Director overseeing PRS, Immigration, Connections Strategy and Operations, as well as the overall management of all four terminals, roads, and rail stations. She has also served as Head of Terminals and Head of Security – Terminals.
Her career in the airport industry began in 2013, with leadership roles such as Head of Cabin Crew at British Airways and Head of Service at ABM. Prior to that, she held retail leadership positions at John Lewis and M&S.
