Steve served 33 years in the Metropolitan Police Service, London. The last 26 years were as a Scotland Yard Detective conducting proactive and reactive investigations into serious and series organised crime. Steve specialised in investigating Trafficking drugs, guns and people and also covert investigation techniques - it was in these capacities he became a consultant to the United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) as well trainer for CEPOL (College of European Policing) Steve was instrumental in setting up Scotland Yards Human Trafficking team gaining funding from Her Majesty's Government (HMG) which he went on to lead - gaining a quarter of all the convictions in the UK by working with Interpol, Europol and Eurojust amongst other agencies. Steve was the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) in Operation Golf which was the largest child trafficking operation in Europe with over a thousand victims. On leaving the Police Steve joined Harrods as Head of Investigations responsible for protecting Harrods, its staff and customers. Steve is now Security and H&S Director for Richemont International Ltd.
