Scott Wiener

Scott is the Global Head of Physical Security & Resilience for AtkinsRealis. He is a technical expert in Security with over 30-years’ experience leading on multidisciplinary security for major infrastructure programmes in the UK and internationally. His expertise and portfolio extend across various CNI sectors including defence, government, aviation, rail, utilities and nuclear and covers most aspects of physical, electronics, systems and operational security and resilience.

He has extensive experience acting as the lead on security projects, in both client and supply chain roles – looking to integrate security into the earliest stages of planning and design with efforts to make security a business enabler through a holistic approach.  He looks to include traditional security methods and practices with the most modern technical and operational ideas, creating solutions that are best suited to an organisation's needs and objectives.

Scott also acts as an advisor to various government steering groups as the industry expert on Security – focusing on topics including the Single Trade Window, Biosecurity and supply chain related works and is involved with a variety of committees for standards, regulations and policy advice. He sits on the ADS Security Board and holds the role of Chair for the Physical Security Special Interest Group as well as representing Industry on the National RISC Council.
