Sarah has a PhD in analytical chemistry and whilst starting out her career monitoring explosives with the UKs Atomic Weapons Establishment, she has spent the majority of her career to date working in the healthcare sector in the design and supply of liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry instruments to be used for the analysis of biological and drug molecules of clinical and toxicological importance.  At Smiths Detection, Sarah is working on the transfer of the BioFlash product and the CANARY technology to markets in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
