Sam Holloway

Head of Protective Security, Homeland Security Group

Sam is Head of Protective Security in Homeland Security Group at the Home Office. His team are responsible for oversight of a myriad of policy priorities, including delivery support for Martyn’s Law, research and development, oversight of operational partner-led initiatives, central government risk management, priority threat methodologies and science and technology. All of which is aimed, simply, at better protecting the general public as they go about their daily lives. Sam joined the Home Office in 2020 and has previously held posts in 5G innovation, telecoms and combatting financial crime in both Government and the private sector.
