Rob Dawson is a highly experienced security professional with over 25 years of expertise in operational leadership, security management, and risk mitigation. Following a decade of service with the British Army, Rob transitioned into the commercial security sector, where he has successfully managed security operations across the Middle East and the UK for both government and private sector clients. Since joining GardaWorld in 2010, Rob has held several pivotal roles, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success. His tenure in Iraq saw him taking on several senior operational roles within the Company. By 2014, he was responsible for overseeing all projects across Central Iraq, managing over 1,000 contractors and ensuring operational delivery in complex environments. In 2017, Rob moved to GardaWorld Security’s Corporate Team in London as Senior Manager, Operations Support. Here. he led the contractor recruitment process, built partnerships with international manpower providers, and established strategic relationships with accredited training organisations. As Director, UK, Rob currently oversees service delivery and client relationships for all UK-based diplomatic clients and projects, operating in the complex regions with GardaWorld’s Security, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic oversight of global staffing.
