Paul Price

Bereaved and injured in the Manchester Arena Attack

Paul Price is a survivor of the 22 May 2017 Manchester Arena bombing.  He was waiting with his partner, Detective Constable Elaine McIver, to collect his then-13-year-old daughter from an Ariana Grande concert when the suicide bomber detonated his device.  Elaine was among the 22 people killed.  Paul sustained catastrophic, life-changing injuries that required nine months in hospital, dozens of operations, and left him with permanent disabilities.  Unable to return to his previous work, he has since become an advocate for improved long-term support for victims and survivors of terrorism.
