Commander Lis Chapple is Deputy Senior National Co-ordinator Protect and Prepare in Counter Terrorism Policing. Lis has a wide portfolio across a number of priority areas including Counter Terrorism Maritime and Aviation, national armed policing, CBRN, and national business engagement, preparedness and prevention.  She is also national lead for Police and Counter Terrorism Search and Counter Terrorism Security Coordinators. Lis’s policing career includes frontline policing, latterly as Basic Command Unit Commander for four South West London boroughs and more recently as Operational Command Unit Commander of Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection. Prior to that she worked in the private sector for 18 years.
