Dov Boonin is the Engagement Lead for Economic Security at the UK Department for Business, Science, Innovation and Trade (BIST). He leads engagement with businesses, trade associations and other partners to promote greater awareness of economic security risks and issues and of the support and guidance available from Government. Drawing on experience across international trade, strategy and project management, Dov previously led delivery for the UK Government's Trade Strategy and headed up the South Asia Export Support Service, helping UK businesses navigate opportunities in one of the world's fastest-growing regions.
 
Before joining BIST, he completed the Civil Service's graduate scheme, the Fast Stream, working on projects spanning cybersecurity, business support and public service delivery. Dov studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
