Richard’s first career was in the British Army where he served as an Infantry Officer, diplomat and intelligence specialist on operations around the globe. He then spent 3 years as the Director of Security and a Serjeant at Arms at the House of Commons. In 2016 Richard joined AEG Europe as Head of Security at The O2 where he was responsible for all aspects of security at The O2, the world’s most popular music and live entertainment venue. He is director of Tier 1 Security Ltd, a security consultant to the YTL Arena Bristol and an expert security witness for the Manchester Arena Inquiry.
