Being a Chartered Security Professional for Chris was an important step, as Chartership is the pinnacle of recognition in any industry or profession. The achievement process was not easy, and nor should it be. Recognition for having reached the standard to be awarded Chartership is essential, both personally and professionally, as clients look to select a consultant who can demonstrate being at the highest level of the industry. Chris holds a BSc in Policing and an MSc in Security Studies

Chris holds a BSc in Policing and an MSc in Security Studies. A former counterterrorism-trained Police Officer and now the director of a multi-award-winning security consultancy, he has an in-depth knowledge of threat and vulnerability delivered in physical security through pragmatic and realistic methods. He is an active member of the security industry and currently serves as a Security Institute Director, leading in Protective Security, Built Environment, and Counterterrorism.

Chris has honed his expertise specifically in protecting crowded places, crime prevention through environmental design, and transport security. Alongside other security projects, Chris has been an independent principal security advisor to major rail and metro projects in the UK and Australia. Some of these projects are now functional and provide transport facilities with inbuilt security features, most of which are not visible but are there.

A former counterterrorism Police Officer, now a director of a multi-award-winning security consultancy. Having in-depth knowledge of threats and vulnerabilities ensures the ability to deliver physical security through pragmatic and realistic methods.
