For the last 20 years Chris has had a primarily operational policing career, most of which has been spent in specialist roles on firearms and operational firearms command. Following completion of an MSc in Project Management he moved into leading risk management and contingency planning at London Heathrow before moving to the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). He is currently head of programmes where his teams deliver on a number of initiatives to keep people safe: in venues and public spaces, aviation and maritime security and from hazardous sites and substances.
