Everbridge to Partner and Present at Safer Cities Summit within the International Security Expo and International Disaster Response 2018

EVERBRIDGE
Safer Cities Summit

BURLINGTON, Mass.  November 15, 2018 — Everbridge (NASDAQ: EVBG), the global leader in critical event management and enterprise safety software applications to help keep people safe and businesses running, announced its exclusive partnership with the Safer Cities Summit, the opening briefing at the International Security Expo and International Disaster Response 2018 (Olympia, London, 28-29 November). The company’s CMO Joel Rosen will present at Safer Cities Summit, drawing on Everbridge’s vast experience helping cities and countries around the world to prepare for, and deal effectively with, critical events.

Everbridge will exhibit at the event (booth H81) under the theme: ‘Keeping People Safe and Operations Running,’ and will support several programmes throughout the two days. The company will demonstrate how its Critical Event Management (CEM) platform, which is used to communicate with employees and the general population, allows response teams to automate and manage the lifecycle of incidents ranging from extreme weather events to cyberattacks in the following four steps:

  • Assess the situation
  • Locate those in harm’s way
  • Act using incident templates to trigger automated messages
  • Analyse the results to produce action reports and to make better decisions

Everbridge introduced the next generation of its CEM platform last month and this is the first time that its powerful visualization and orchestration capabilities will have been shown in Europe.  Everbridge serves six of the 10 largest global consulting firms, six of the 10 largest global auto makers, all four of the largest global accounting firms, nine of the 10 largest U.S. cities, and all 25 of the 25 busiest North American airports.
