Fighting Back Beyond the Wire: How HMPPS are Fighting Back Against the Threat of UAS
Simon will outline the nature and scale of the threat posed by drones/UAS to His Majesty's Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) as well as focusing on their 4P approach to countering the threat and how they are fighting back. The talk will touch upon an all-system holistic approach that includes Technology, Data/Reporting, Policy, an intelligence led Taskforce, x-govt intelligence sharing, international engagement and sharing of best practice, and a proactive LEA stance.
