A presentation addressing the issues of equality in the digital and technology sector, how we ensure equality and diversity in the industry, with a focus on the "forgotten workforce", that is professional women in prison, with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to contribute and build career paths within digital, data and tech, if the issue of criminal disclosure was not so taboo and stigmatised. Case study presented by way of my own lived experience to showcase why it is important to look beyond a criminal conviction.
