The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) is a police hosted unit that supports the ‘protect and prepare’ strands of the government’s counter terrorism strategy. NaCTSO develop free authoritative advice and guidance to support communities and businesses to counter terrorism. NaCTSO are also responsible for managing the new counter terrorism and security platform and app, ProtectUK.
