lnVentry is built with a Cloud-First approach, meaning all your data is stored securely in the Cloud. Our system uses dedicated InVentry Edge devices that come loaded with the relevant applications, so there's no need to install software on your existing computers or servers. To keep things running smoothly if the internet connection drops, InVentry employs a local edge data cache. This edge data cache provides a local rest API which local InVentry devices communicate with. These local devices just need to be on the same network to talk to each other.
A stable internet connection is needed to sync with the Cloud, but your system will continue working locally if there’s a temporary issue. If preferred, you can host the local cache on your own server, just make sure it meets the system requirements. Managing InVentry is easy through our secure online InVentry Cloud portal, which you can access anytime, from anywhere, using any modern web browser
