The Crown is a novel drone capture device designed for safe and cost-effective counter-drone operations. Unlike destructive methods that risk collateral damage or loss of evidence, the Crown intercepts and captures drones mid-flight, ensuring they can be recovered intact for forensic investigation and operator identification.

Developed and tested with drone pilots in realistic scenarios, the Crown is lightweight, reusable, and designed for versatility. With a combined weight of only around 500 g in its lightest configuration, including carrier (C1 rated), Crown™, and parachute, the system is ideally suited for deployment in urban or sensitive environments. Its ultralight design minimizes the risk of collateral damage, allowing security teams to safely intercept drones even in crowded areas or near critical infrastructure.

Engineered to tackle multi-rotor drones up to 7 kg, from consumer platforms like the DJI Mavic and Air series to professional drones such as the Matrice line or custom FPV builds, the Crown covers the most common threat drones in both urban and field environments.

Fully physical and compatible with a wide range of drones, it gives total control to the operator in today’s world, where many electronic counter-drone solutions can be disabled remotely through a software update.
