Each model has a specific impact rating, allowing specifiers to select the appropriate bollard for the assessed vehicle threat and site layout. Selection should consider approach speed, vehicle penetration, debris dispersion and the space available behind the barrier.
Construction and finish
Terror Stopper bollards are manufactured from grade E355 or hot finished S355 seamless circular hollow section steel. All four models stand 1,000 mm above ground, with diameters of 219 mm or 273 mm depending on the model.
A polyester powder coated finish is available in a range of RAL colours. Optional stainless steel covers are available at additional cost.

Terror Stopper 1 (TS1)
The TS1 is a 219 mm diameter bollard tested against a 7.5-tonne vehicle at 48 km/h, approximately 30 mph.

Terror Stopper 2 (TS2)
The TS2 is a 219 mm diameter bollard tested against a 7.5-tonne vehicle at 64 km/h, approximately 40 mph.

Terror Stopper 3 (TS3)
The TS3 is a 273 mm diameter bollard tested against a 7.5-tonne vehicle at 64 km/h, approximately 40 mph. It has the shallowest listed embedment in the range, at 230 mm.

Specification and installation
Impact ratings apply to the tested configurations. Bollard spacing, foundations and installation details must follow the relevant tested arrangement. Listed embedment depths should be read alongside the full foundation drawings when assessing excavation requirements and underground services.
