SafetyShield 1500 is a clear, 380 micron (15 mil) PET composite for retrofit application to strengthen existing windows.  When applied to common, single glazed, commercial or residential windows, performance increases to that of laminated windows.

SafetyShield 1500 achieves BOMB BLAST, INTRUSION, and OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY performance conditions tested to internationally recognized and accepted certifications.

Maximum or greater performance can be achieved by combining SafetyShield 800 with Madico's patented FrameGard frame edge extension system or Gull Wing edge retention tape.
