Safegate consists of a standard "tensor" style barrier pole , with a concealed plastic scintillator detector , power source and Wi-Fi connectivity. 

Detecting Gamma Radiation threats covertly , Safegate communicates with a windows based software package which can be loaded onto a handheld device or integrated into existing control room management software. 

Safegate software manages multiple devices and offers measurement in CPS counts per second. Providing the ability for users to set individual alarm thresholds each device can be loaded with it's own detection profile.
