The APEX-64 Removable Bollard can be installed in either a straight line or a curved array just like our standard APEX bollard. The modular design of the APEX means that the bollard line can be extended to provide protection along the full perimeter and can also directly connect to Heald’s shallow mount Matador system and EVO bollards. The circular bollard is suitable for a variety of aesthetic finishes and covers, providing a seamless perimeter to both historic and contemporary architecture.
Just as easy to install as the standard APEX Bollards, the removable has a deeper excavation depth of 260mm for the main body of the product with an additional small pocket excavation of an additional 105mm to facilitate the bollard socket, totalling a complete excavation of 365mm (request an installation drawing for further details).
As with the standard APEX, the APEX-64 Removable Bollard is simply positioned with no pinning required and then secured in place with a concrete back-fill. The surface can be finished with tarmac or pavers to create smooth integration with any landscape
