Spyke® is Quell’s portable electro-optical counter-unmanned aerial and surface close-in threat detection system.
Built from first principles and informed by our Defence Plasticity® design philosophy, Spyke is powered by Quell’s Deep Truth® software. Spyke is able to detect, track and identify evolving unmanned threats as they develop.
- 6 Spyke units can be assembled around one central camera module to produce a SkySpyke® unit
- Portable or can be vehicle or static mounted
- Spyke Electro-Optical (EO) detection can be layered with Night Spyke™ Infrared (IR), Acoustic sensors and Passive Radar
- Can detect autonomous, fibre and cellular controlled drones
- Cannot be jammed and works in urban, wooded or contested areas
- Distinguishes drones from birds and ignores environmental clutter without emitting signals
- Detects and tracks regardless of whether on the move or operated statically, on land or maritime environments
- Multiple Spyke units can be linked together to provide increased sky coverage
