A 1-day online introductory course aimed at familiarizing participants with the main concepts of threat and risk, journey planning, mobile security and residential personal safety.

Environment: medium-risk and high-risk.

Duration: 1 day.

Modality: online – via Zoom video platform and Miro visual collaboration platform.

Methodology: online interactive sessions aimed at introducing the main concepts of travel security to participants travelling or working in middle-risk and high-risk countries. 

Content: the training focuses on the concepts of threat and risk, risk assessment matrix, mitigation measures, residential personal safety, journey planning and mobile security. 

Target: personnel from the private sector, NGOs, journalists, academia, International Organisations and European Institutions.
