HiSec Super PAS68 Permenant HVM Fencing
Tested and certified to PAS 68:2010, the system stopped a 2.5-tonne vehicle travelling at 48 km/h, approximately 30 mph, with zero penetration recorded in the test.
Integrated perimeter protection
The HVM springs are incorporated into the fencing system, allowing the fence and vehicle mitigation elements to share a single foundation arrangement. This supports perimeter protection where space is restricted and both vehicle threats and pedestrian intrusion need to be addressed.
HiSec Super 6 panels use 6 mm vertical wires and 4 mm horizontal wires, with a closely spaced 76.2 × 12.7 mm mesh aperture to deter climbing and provide a physical barrier against attack.
The system is available in nominal above-ground heights from 2.4 to 3.6 metres. All panels extend a further 300 mm below ground.
Vehicle impact testing
- Standard: PAS 68:2010
- Test vehicle: 2,500 kg, category N1G
- Impact speed: 48 km/h, approximately 30 mph
- Impact angle: 90°
- Recorded vehicle penetration: 0.0 m
- Classification: V/2500[N1G]/48/90:0.0/0.0
The impact rating applies to the tested configuration. Foundations, components and installation details must follow the relevant tested arrangement.

Protective finish
Posts, panels and painted ancillary components receive a protective zinc layer and an electrostatically applied polyester powder coating to BS 1722-16. Enhanced coating systems, including marine coatings, are available for more demanding environments.
Regular washing and prompt repair of coating damage help maintain the protective finish and extend service life.
