FrameGard is Madico's patented, mechanical, frame edge battening system for SafetyShield series security glazing film.   Once SafetyShield window film is applied to existing windows, FrameGard channels are applied to create a frame overlap that retains film and glass fragmentation in the event of an INDUSTRIAL EXPLOSION, BOMB BLAST, FORCED ENTRY, or STRUCTURAL, SPONTANEOUS GLASS BREAKAGE.

When combined with SafetyShield 800, 800 Solar Series such as SafetyShield Nova 70, common commercial single glazed windows can achieve SafetyShield 800 achieves performance conditions such as ISO 16933 EXV 19 and various; ASTM F-642 GSA 2, 3A, and 3B; EN 12600 1B1 and 2B2, and many other internationally recognized and accepted certifications.
