Head of Security & Business Resilience, British Land

During a full career in the police service, Jonathan specialised as a Counter-Terrorism Security Coordinator (CT SecCo) in the Protective Security Command at New Scotland Yard.  He devised and delivered complex security operations in order to protect state occasions, senior members of the royal family, high profile public events, iconic venues, and vulnerable crowded places.  This necessitated a wide range of knowledge and stakeholder engagement across the security industry, from event management through to manned guarding, technical support and close protection.

An active contributor to the security industry, he has participated in reviewing National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the Security Managers, Security Consultants and Events NOS suites at Skills for Security.  He is a Fellow and the current Vice Chairman of the Security Institute. He has delivered specialist training abroad and has presented on protective security at international conferences.

Jonathan currently heads security and resilience for a FTSE100 company, impacting from the operational level up to C suite with oversight of crisis management.
