Resilience Knowledge Coordinator, Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College
Lianna Roast is Resilience Knowledge Coordinator at the Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College (EPC). She is currently delivering on the Government’s commitment to a programme of work synthesising lessons identified from emergencies and exercises, including production of the new UK Resilience Lessons Digest. Lianna is also a Research Associate with Bournemouth University’s Disaster Management Centre (BUDMC) and a member of the Lessons and Implementation Board at the Counter Terrorism Preparedness Network (CTPN). In 2021 she authored a report for the National Preparedness Commission titled: ‘Learning that can save lives: Psychological perspectives on learning from major Incidents and disasters’.
